Well, what a year this has been … and requires a Christmas message to suit!
Like many of you, our best laid plans for 2020 were promptly thrown out the window in March with new ones having to be created very quickly. For us, the key focus has been supporting our wonderful clients with the many people challenges that the global pandemic has thrown at their businesses, their employees, leadership teams and the business owners and families themselves. During this crazy time, we have also managed to expand our team of specialist consultants who have helped us to continue to deliver high quality work during these rough times.
There has been a lot of blood, sweat and tears shed this year required to get everyone through (including for us at Dakota Blue too!), but through it we are, an achievement that deserves to be celebrated in its own right!
Agility and resilience have been required in abundance these past 12 months and we are bracing ourselves for more of the same for the foreseeable future. We think it is fair to say that 2021 is going to be more of the same where the pandemic is concerned, spiced up with the ramifications of Brexit thrown in!
So, this year, more than ever, it is important that you and your teams take some much needed downtime and headspace over the next couple of weeks to prepare for the year ahead, in what is probably going to be one of the quietest Christmas’s I am sure many of us have seen in our lives!
But one thing is certain, we know our community is made up of amazingly resilient, talented, creative and positive business owners, leaders and service providers who keep smiling in the face of adversity and inspire us daily with their leadership and positivity.
For that we want to say a big THANK YOU, as you make our work at Dakota Blue rewarding and fulfilling.
So, on this note, we are checking out for two weeks and will be returning on 4th January 2020 with renewed vigour to face the many challenges ahead.
In the meantime, we appreciate that some of our community will continue to be working during this time and we know all too well that urgent “people issues” don’t always take a break, so Jackie, our MD, will have her mobile on to support you should you need any urgent advice (07419195613).
Stay safe, healthy and take the time to smile and reflect on all that is good in the world, we certainly will be
